What’s Your Story?

When Carlos Castaneda was asked to say who was his teacher, don Juan Matus–who was he, really–his answer was to say that don Juan was a collection of stories, stories that reflected infinity. In two upcoming events, we are going to look specifically at: What are the stories we tell? Like the lake that reflect the ever-changing infinity of the sky above–Do our stories reflect infinity?–the essence of who we, and others, are? We will start with looking at the stories we love, and what they tell us about our own life journey. First is an online class this Saturday, August 27 at 9 am PST, 18:00h CET. Then follows a full workshop in Pasadena, California on September 16, 17 and 18 where we will go deeper, looking at the stories that illuminate our life and dreams. 1. “One Swallow”

Since my childhood I’ve always loved this song/poem, it’s so evocative I was inspired to create this piece of story-telling using my own skills in art, music and video.
I hope to eventually write some of my own songs but as a first step I used this song as a vehicle for retelling the story in my own way. Hope you enjoy it too.
